All Models Are Wrong, Some Are Fascinating

The Pepper Wreck is both a Portuguese Indiaman, the Nossa Senhora dos Mártires  that wrecked in the mouth of the Tagus, and a virtual reconstruction of the same. The reconstruction is the work of  Filipe Vieira de Castro and his students and, of course, there is a book

Slight nit-pick but should not Targus be Tagus.

Sorry to be pedantic but this old sea dog has visited that area and knows some maritime history. Even British steel battleships have been known to have trouble with uncharted rocks in those waters.
